Leave it to the Scandinavians to stay cool and chic even during these cold winter months. Scandinavian style tends to be classic and modern in aesthetic, but as you can see from one of the many fashionable Swedes featured on Swedish street style blog, Carolines Mode (carolinesmode.com/stockholmstreetstyle), the Scandinavian fashion sense is not just limited to that – you’ll find hipster, retro, and glam rock looks around too. Typically however solid colors are favored over patterns and outfits are kept within the same color palette. Think understated, minimalist, and cool.

After reading this, quickly click to Fab.com, which is currently having a sale ending today for Design House Stockholm. The Swedish studio makes draping knitwear and oversized separates that are universally flattering and will make you feel effortlessly fashionable. My favorites from their collection would have to be the dress and tunic from the ‘Numb’ line.

None of my picks are complete without showing some love to my fellow Etsy peeps. I’m well pleased with the three head-turning pieces that will finish off any outfit with a “wow!” If I were you I’d snap that vintage ’70s faux fur coat before I do, and how marvelous are those geometric accessories?
