One of the great things about being a vintage shop owner is hearing from other vintage lovers in other parts of the country, heck, the world for that matter, who I probably wouldn’t have otherwise met. Marlen, who writes Messages on a Napkin is one of those people. I absolutely love her quirky and unique style, which she attributes to her love of ‘anything vintage, grandpa-like, and thrifted.’
This month she styled one of CutandChicVintage’s dresses on her blog, which was this vintage 1960’s hot pink Mad Men-esque number. Doesn’t she look adorable in it? And how about that pop of bright color on an otherwise dreary winter day? Now that’s the way to heat things up even when it’s chilly and cold outside!
