• 1. Tie It On
You can keep those long skinny scarves you bought last season because it looks like they are here to stay. Try tying it into a bow for an extra big pussy bow look as seen on the Fall 2016 runways from Sonia Rykiel to Temperley. If you haven’t bought one yet, grab this satin one from Urban Outfitters.

    2. Velvet Crush
Velvet was everywhere on the Fall 2016 runways, but don’t think of velvet as just for the autumn/winter months. Monse chose spring hue pastel pink in its collection and Prabal Gurung and Ralph Lauren kept their dresses light and airy. This vintage velvet Chloe dress has just been added to the shop and it is fab!

    3. The Asian Persuasion
Eastern influences were seen on the runways of Alberta Ferreti, Brock New York, Fendi, and Gucci. Luxurious satin fabric, intricate embroidery, and exotic motifs add a bit of flair to any outfit, whether it’s a brocade jacket paired with jeans or an asian inspired cocktail dress. Both this vintage brocade halter top and this vintage blue velvet mandarin collar cocktail dress are perfect for going from spring to fall.

    4. Shine On, Superstar
At Alexander McQueen the models strutted down the runway gilted with glitter that looked like fairy dust. That collection was so gorgeous it was all I really needed to jump on the shiny bandwagon—but then again I love anything that sparkles and shines so it really wasn’t like anyone had to twist my arm to say yes! to this trend. Grab this sequin vintage top from the shop for a cocktail party look that’ll work for any season.

    5. The Skirt Suit
Channel your inner Cher Horowitz because the matching skirt suit is back for Fall 2016. The hemlines are short so you can invest in this trend now and just transition it into fall with tights and a cute statement coat. Grab this matching tweed coat and skirt from Topshop for an adorable retro ’60s look.

    6. Posh Bohemian
When has bohemia ever been out, right? This is one of those timeless trends that you can rock all year ’round. Wear a floaty chiffon maxi dress on its own in the summer, then just layer it up with a polo neck top and boots for the fall, but think luxury and glamor when accessorizing as per the Fall runways. This vintage 1920s ruffled dress from Free People is sheer perfection.

    7. The Sliced Skirt
This trend was seen on quite a few of the runway shows at London and I am loving it! This double slit skirt works perfect for spring and fall.
