Cue that Justin Timberlake song because this vintage ’70s maxi dress is definitely bringing sexy back. Not only is the back of this dress va-va-voom, it also made my vertically challenged 5’2″ self feel incredibly statuesque. The best bit? It skimmed over the parts of my body I’m not so thrilled about, i.e. my tummy. Now that’s a winner, winner, chicken dinner! Find it in our Dresses, Skirts, & Suits section.
This vintage pajama top was in need of some rescuing when I found it. It was missing a button and needed some mending. I love it when I have an excuse to visit the sewing supply store. I found these navy blue, rhinestone encrusted buttons at M&J Trimming on 6th Avenue between 37th & 38th Street. It was just what I was looking for, something a bit glamorous with a nautical feel.
When I had put this vintage Moschino top on, all I wanted to do was shake it like a Polaroid picture! The fringe trim is so much fun and fringe is bang on trend this season. Personally though, I think fringe is on trend every season!
I love anything that can go from day to night in no time at all. This vintage ’40s smock top can go from casual to dressy with just a quick change of pants. It’s like when Samantha from Bewitched wiggles her nose and presto change-o something magical appears. In this case that magic could be an extra 20 minutes to yourself before going out!
Now if you’ve been following my blog for a while, you’ll know that I love a fun, colorful print. When I saw this vintage fruit print clutch bag, I knew I had to get it for the shop. Not only does it have this amazing print, it’s got two different sides. Another Bewitched moment!
You can find all of these and the rest of my hand-picked vintage collection in my Etsy shop. Of course if you have any questions, feel free to give me a shout.
