    An AHA Cleanser

I love using an alpha hydroxy (AHA) cleanser, especially during the winter months. Look for ingredients like glycolic acid or lactic acid to gently exfoliate dry, flaking skin. The results are a brighter complexion that’s ready to absorb all the good properties from your serum and moisturizers. If you have very sensitive skin, I suggest using this facial cleanser from PCA Skin. I like to use my AHA cleanser every morning and use a gentler cleanser at night so as not to overstrip my skin. FYI, alpha hydroxy acids also stimulate elastin and collagen production which means it's great as part of your anti-aging routine. Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

    A Face Oil

An exfoliating cleanser can leave your skin feeling a little dry and tight. I like following up with a light and ultra-absorbent face oil. I have acne-prone skin so don’t worry if you’re a bit weary of using oils on your face. Trust me, there are face oils out there for every complexion, including if you are are oily and worried about breakouts. A face oil will replenish your natural oils depleted during the harsher winter weather and keep your skin balanced. It should never feel greasy and should absorb quickly when massaged into your face. My go-to favorite is Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Active Brightening Oil.

    A Hydrating Serum

After using my face oil, I top it off with a hydrating serum. I love this one from Laniege the best. It's super hydrating and it never leaves ny skin feeling greasy. I swear by Laneige’s Water Bank line to moisturize my skin when it feels really dry and keep it feeling refreshed. You’ll never feel it on your skin afterwards. It’s as if your skin was naturally balanced which is how skincare should feel, like you’ve got nothing on it at all.

    A Creamy Moisturizer

I find the best moisturizers for winter are cream, rather than a lotion or a gel. Dehydrated skin needs something of heavier consistency to lock moisture in. I use a day cream with SPF in the mornings, a night cream after my retinol treatment at night, followed by an eye cream both times.

    A Luxurious Face Mask

Face masks are my jam! A luxurious face mask used two to three times a week can make all the difference in the world to radiant, glowy skin. Typically I alternate between different face masks to address different issues. If you’re looking for a wonderful all-rounder with amazing results, I totally recommend using this sheet mask from Wow Masks (read the full review here).
