Zac Posen’s Fall 2012 collection at New York Fashion Week may have had a Japanese theme to it but it was also very reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour and opulence.
Nicole Phelps of Style.com commented that ‘…the dressiness of the clothes tended to come off old-fashioned and costumey…’ but we much rather agree with Fashion columnist Jeanne Baker by saying that this collection was just ‘drop-dead gorgeous’.
‘The ultra feminine sirens who walked the show looked like they stepped out of the pages of a Hollywood novel, and made us all remember that it’s Posen’s passions for both theatre and the female form that always inform his impressive efforts,’ reported Baker.
