As you may already know our tagline here at CutandChicVintage is “hand-picked vintage with love,” and we had plenty of love to go around this week. I’ve been busy sewing, cleaning, and repairing some of our new vintage finds and I can’t wait to add these beauties to the shop in the next couple of days. Look forward to a va-va-voom sequin cocktail dress, a vintage knit cream pleat skirt, and some very cool vintage army jackets and shirts to be added real soon, so stay tuned!
This vintage dress was missing quite a few sequins here and there, but now it’s almost all replaced and ready for a night out. Expect it in the shop sometime early next week.

This is a vintage Neiman Marcus straw clutch bag I found at an estate sale recently. I’m madly in love with it. Isn’t it a beaut? Unfortunately, shortly after I came home I found rust-like powder being left behind with just a few gentle taps on the table. I suspect it to be deteriorating because of dry rot. Big bummer! Unforeseen circumstances such as this happen from time to time with vintage finds. I’ve tried spraying it with Scotch Guard to protect it but am afraid it may be too late to save. Anyone have any ideas? If you do I’m all ears, it’d be a shame to throw out something so precious.
This 1960’s knit rayon pleat skirt is oh so chic and lovely. A timeless addition for anyone’s wardrobe. It’s been dry cleaned and will be added very soon…
Much like the skirt above, army jackets and shirts will never go out of style and I think they’re so über cool for either a guy or a gal.
If you’re interested in any of the items above just give me a shout. I’m more than happy to answer any questions.
Till next time,
