• Man Up

Outfit posts winter minimalist street style
If there’s any time of the year to wear two pieces of outerwear, it’s right now in NYC. This is the time of year I dread the most when it comes to doing outfit posts for this blog. Before I know it, it’ll be below 30 degrees Fahrenheit outside (that’s -1 degree Celsius for my metric using friends). Not quite the weather one hopes for when you’re trying everything in your power to not look like The Stay Puft Man a.k.a the marshmallow man in Ghostbusters. I’ll try my best to man up and stay stylish, my fashionable friends, but I’m not making any promises! I just may have to break out my pair of ugly galoshes when the time comes #sorrynotsorry.

Luckily, the day of this shoot was warmer than I thought it would be. The sun was shining (a rarity these days) so I got to rock my latest pair of sunnies from DITTO. The touch of silver on these Karen Walker sunnies goes oh-so-well with this moto jacket I got from Zara during their cyber week sale as well as my favorite new watch from Nicole Vienna.

If you’re somewhere where it’s freezing cold, I hope you’re keeping warm under the covers and drinking some hot cocoa right about now. That’s what I’m doing while I’m finishing up this post! I think I’ll man up another day, ay? How about you, what are your plans for staying warm?
